Performs admitting, reception, scheduling, and clerical duties in the Radiology Outpatient Center. Uses hospital and Radiology computer systems to access information.

QUALIFICATIONS

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Associate degree or twoyear college equivalency.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Basic MS Word skills and 35 wpm keyboarding skills. General knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred: Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum: Six months clerical experience, preferable in a medical environment, or comparable training which provides skills to perform the job tasks competently.
