The Educator provides and coordinates health care education related to specialty area to health care providers and the community. Functions as consultant and resource for education, research, and professional development. The educator promotes the generation and dissemination of new knowledge and the use of evidence to advance nursing professional development practice, guide clinical practice and improve patient care.

• CA RN license required, MSN or Master's in Education preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• 5 years recent experience in a clinical setting related to specialty area; unit based education leadership
• Experience in a defined Educator Role preferred
