Description:

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Director, Pediatric Residency responsible for providing overall strategic and operational leadership for SBCH's Pediatric Residency Program. Works with the Executive Leadership of SBCH and with the faculty and residents of the Program to achieve the educational and strategic objectives of the Pediatric Residency Program. Responsibilities include:
  • Oversees the development, maintenance, review, delivery, coordination, and assessment of all aspects of Pediatrics Residency training curriculum. Participates in the clinical teaching and supervision of the Pediatrics Residents in both the inpatient setting and the ambulatory setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Minimum: California Medical License; Drug Enforcement Administration license; Board Certification in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, with Maintenance of Certification; Medical Staff membership at SBCH.

Years of Related Work Experience:
  • Minimum: 3 years of experience, including active participation at Pediatrics Teaching Residency. At minimum, attending in a Residency program.
