Description:

Responsible for initiating, tracking, and communicating scheduling for patient procedures and surgical services and the required testing for including but not limited to Covid testing. Coordinates the schedule and acts as a liaison between departments, referring physician offices, the anesthesia department, and the patient access department to promote departmental efficiency with excellent customer relations. Collaborates with all members of the team to enhance the successful coordination, scheduling, and communications of the procedure model across multiple procedure areas, physician offices, and patients and their caregivers.

Medical terminology course, required. Associate degree, preferred.

AHA BLS required.

One (1) year office support experience (completion of a secretarial/business school education program may be substituted for the 1-year experience) required.
