Job Summary:

We are seeking a scientist to join the CVI research team based in California. Our experienced team is built with both clinically trained and research trained members with responsibilities to identify and evaluate novel contact lens and ophthalmic interventions designed to solve unmet needs within the eyecare community.

Team responsibilities range from initial ideation and invention to rigorous benchtop and clinical testing of ophthalmic devices. We are responsible for developing the next generation of products for CooperVision Inc. Important skills within our team include high quality verbal and written communication to the broader CooperVision and Eyecare communities, and the ability to work closely with remote research partners and cross functional departments within R& D. Considerable time and efforts center on conceiving of and evaluating novel ideas related to optical technologies and vision science.

A successful candidate will be eager to apply research skills to the real-world task of developing improved optics in contact lenses for vision correction.
