Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Human Resource Director at our Aerospace Manufactory in City of Industry, CA.

Position Summary: The HR Generalist supports daily human resources operations and provides administrative and operational support across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR systems. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in human resources.
This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources, who supports multiple sites and may not be onsite regularly. The HR Generalist must be comfortable working independently, managing day-to-day HR operations with minimal supervision, and serving as the primary HR point of contact at the assigned location.
Salary Rate: $70, 000 - $90, 000 DOE Key Responsibilities: - Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HRIS systems
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and changes
- Support employee relations by documenting concerns and helping resolve routine issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
- Help coordinate training programs and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping audits as needed
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation
- Support workers' compensation and leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 2-3 years of HR or administrative experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience is a plus
- Bilingual Required (Spanish/English)
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with HRIS systems (UKG) preferred
- HR certification preferred (or working toward one), such as SHRM-CP or PHR
