Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Accurately document daily treatments, progress notes, and patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident care plans
  • Participate in patient care conferences and ongoing treatment planning
  • Assist in training and supporting Restorative Aides to promote continuity of care
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and safe discharge planning
  • Maintain professional, compassionate communication with residents, families, and staff


Qualifications
  • Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
  • Passion for rehabilitation and patient-centered care
  • Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
