Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Starting from an existing project with USB master/slave, add firmware and software for I2C/I3C master.
  • Design, implement and verify the firmware/software to make sure all functions are working.
  • Integrate a new I2C logging tool into the TIDE framework.
  • Develop an API bridge between TIDE and the logging tool for real-time I2C transaction capture.
  • Enhance TIDE's existing I2C functionalities, including improved timing control and error handling.
  • Implement a structured data logging system and visualization tools for I2C analysis.
  • Create Python-based automated test scripts to validate the integration.
  • Conduct debugging, unit testing, and validation of I2C communication protocols.
  • Document the development process, findings, and final implementation for future reference.

Education & Experience

College Junior in ECE with C programming experience. Experience with AI and machine learning is a plus

Skills
  • Basic knowledge with circuit and software.
  • Strong understanding of I2C communication protocols and debugging techniques.
  • Experience with .NET and # development, particularly for hardware interfacing and test automation.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and improve existing software functionalities.
  • Experience with data logging and visualization techniques.
  • Good documentation and communication skills for technical reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an R& D environment with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions
  • This position is on-site
  • May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
  • Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
  • May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive's needs

Physical Requirements
  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
