Location: Van Nuys, CA (Hybrid). This position requires regular on site presence. No exceptions.

Compensation: $72, 300.00 - $88, 300.00 per annum; Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Duties and Responsibilities

Core HR Generalist Responsibilities
  • Serve as a People Operations resource to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Support employee relations matters and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Assist with employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Support HR audits, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on workforce needs and People initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive employee and candidate experience


Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Responsibilities
  • Coordinate job postings, applications, interview scheduling, and recruitment logistics
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates
  • Maintain applicant tracking system records and hiring documentation
  • Partner with hiring managers on interviews, feedback, and hiring decisions
  • Support offer preparation and pre employment documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including orientation and system access
  • Ensure new hires are set up for success
  • Track recruiting metrics and support reporting
  • Ensure compliance with hiring practices and regulations

Essential Job Functions
  • Ability to operate designated technology devices and programs.
  • Ability to work in the designated office and its environment as well as indoor and outdoor environments within airports including airside facilities, landside facilities, and terminal buildings.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders in a variety of small and large group settings.
  • If needed, must have a reasonable space to work from home/remotely with appropriate office set up.
  • Ability to work extended hours and in a flex schedule to meet the demands of the position.
  • Able to comply with any and all safety requirements necessary to perform the job safely.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.


Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or related experience required.
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred


Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Knowledge of recruiting and HR generalist practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
  • Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening is required.
