Job Description
City Net is hiring a Team Supervisor (Watt Ave.) in North Highlands, CA. This is a full-time position.
Position Overview The Team Supervisor is responsible forleading, managing, and supporting a team to achieve organizational goals. This role ensures the teamoperatesefficiently, meets performance targets, andmaintainshigh morale. The supervisor acts as a liaison between team members and upper management, offering guidance, resolving issues, and fostering a positive work environment. The Team Supervisor may be assigned additional duties as needed to support program goals and agency operations. This includes collaborating with other departments and taking direction from other supervisors or managers as appropriate. Expected Hours and Place of Work: The incumbent works full-time, onsite at the Watt Ave. Safe Stay Community Shelter. The role will be scheduled to oversee one of the following shifts: Day Shift: 7: 00am-3: 30pm, 5 days each week.Swing Shift: 3: 00pm-11: 30pm, 5 days each week.Overnight Shift: 11: 00pm-7: 30am, 5 days each week Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Team Leadership and Management Supervise, mentor, and motivate team members to meet or exceed objectives. Set clear goals, expectations, and performance standards. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. Performance Monitoring Track individual and team performance metrics.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Address underperformance and implement improvement plans as needed. Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for team-related issues and updates.Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and challenges.Ensure clear communication of organizational objectivesand changes. Problem-Solving Identify and resolve team or operational issues promptly.Support team members in overcoming challenges.Escalate critical issues to higher management when necessary. Training and Development Provide onboarding and ongoing training for team members.Identifyskill gaps and organize professional development opportunities.Encourage team members to take ownership of their roles. Operational Oversight Ensure tasks and projects are completed on time and within budget.Manage workload distribution to ensure efficiency.Monitor adherence to company policies, processes, and standards. Compliance and Goal-Meeting Consistently meet all assigned productivity and outcome goals.In all activities, comply withall contracts, funder requirements, and City Net procedures and policies.Meet or exceed all goals and requirements establishedfor this position.
