Position Summary:

At Center for Discovery, we are committed to providing the highest quality of clinical care and swift access to treatment for those individuals we serve. The Associate Vice President of Strategic Partnerships provides strategic leadership and oversight for partnership development and referral growth across Center for Discovery's eating disorder treatment programs, including residential and outpatient levels of care, to include virtual.

This role is responsible for developing and managing key relationships with hospitals, physicians, therapists, universities, and behavioral health providers while directly overseeing the Center for Discovery outreach team responsible for referral development. The AVP ensures that partnership strategy, outreach activity, and admissions growth are aligned with organizational goals and the clinical mission of delivering high-quality eating disorder care. The AVP of Strategic Partnerships will report directly to the Division President of Eating Disorder and Mental Health, with a dotted line to the VP of Sales.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Directs the strategic initiatives of the division related to strategic partners, sales goals, and reputation.
  • Establishes prospect and admissions targets for outreach representatives in the Center for Discovery brand
  • Manages team through data-driven decision-making and a high level of accountability to KPIs
  • Closely collaborates with the Business Development Team
    • Observes and analyzes the business development activities for Center for Discovery to drive activities with the highest ROI
    • Provides training and feedback to the Business Development team related to activities and expectations
  • Attends conferences and other marketing and outreach events as determined with supervisor.
  • Drives sales attached referrals for admission into Center for Discovery from strategic partners.
  • Monitors sales driven referral and admissions volume and provides overview and insights to Division President(s) and VP of Sales weekly.
  • Collaborates with strategic partners in the industry to grow relationships and identify areas of improvement.
  • Directs the strategic initiatives of the division related to strategic partners, sales goals, and reputation.
  • Collaborates with digital marketing team and public relations to creatively and competently highlight Center for Discovery in the industry as experts and leading treatment providers.
  • Works with the admissions department to support in training and guidance in the management of eating disorder admissions.
  • Ability to adjust prospect targets based on variable factors from census related partners, to include awareness of conversion, length of stay, and total channel lead volume.
  • Creatively addresses reputation challenges and collaborates with operations and clinical teams to provide feedback and ensure issues are resolved.
    • Ensures feedback loop is closed with partners who have given constructive feedback about the process improvement or other actions taken.
  • Travel 25% of the month and as determined with supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Knowledge, Education, & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of three years in the Eating Disorder field required; 5+ years preferred
  • Five to ten years of experience in outreach or business development and admissions
  • Minimum of five years of management experience in the healthcare industry

  • Manage challenging and crisis situations in a calm and confident manner, and provide leadership and appropriate role modeling to others in doing the same
  • Exhibits a collaborative, resourceful, and enthusiastic approach to challenges and leadership
  • Demonstrates ability to access and document using the organization's systems including, but not limited to: SalesForce, Electronic Health Records, Human Resources Information System, and Expense Management System
  • Must dress in a professional manner and have a professional demeanor in all interactions internally and externally
Employment Status: Full-Time

Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm

Work Location: Virtual

Compensation: $180-200k per year
