BMW Of North America LLC. is hiring a Technical Field Analyst in Santa Monica, CA. This is a full-time position.

Relocation is available for this position.
The expected salary range for this position is $62, 500.00 - $125, 000.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Provides technical support for Western Region consumer litigation cases to improve service quality.
- Delivers technical assistance to BMW centers and MINI dealers by phone and through on-site visits for litigated vehicles.
- Documents all technical guidance and assistance accurately and thoroughly.
- Conducts vehicle inspections to assess eligibility for repurchase under federal and state laws.
- Exercises discretion to offer remedies including vehicle repurchase, repairs, goodwill payments, or loyalty credits.
- Applies deep knowledge of federal and state consumer warranty and fraud laws, particularly California standards, and clearly documents decision rationale for legal defense.
- Acts as a company representative and technical expert in legal proceedings, provides feedback to counsel and engineering leadership, and travels as required.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Vocational degree, technical degree, associate's degree in automotive technology, or Bachelor's degree
- Certified BMW Master Technician including all associated specialties
- ASE Certification, preferred
- 5+ years experience as a Master Technician or 10+ years experience as a premium brand Master Technician equivalency in training certifications
- Must have the ability to perform diagnoses of complex technical issues
- Must be able to work in workshop conditions, including outside
