Speech Therapist (SLP) - PRN📍
Arbor Post Acute - 1200 Springfield Dr, Chico, CA 95928
Hourly Rate: $62-$72/hr DOE
Arbor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated
Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our supportive and collaborative interdisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery while enjoying flexible scheduling in a positive care environment.
What You'll Do- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in accordance with physician orders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust based on patient progress
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehab team members, patients, and families
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and payer requirements
- Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary meetings as needed
- Provide education and training to staff, caregivers, and families to support continuity of care
- Supervise and mentor SLP Assistants, Clinical Fellows, or students when applicable
What We're Looking For- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLP license in good standing
- Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Casamba or PointClickCare a plus
