Description:

Our company is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our quality control team as a CMM Programmer and Inspector. Along with programming, operating and troubleshooting the calibration of the coordinate measuring machine, as a member of our Quality team, you will use precise measurement tools to ensure our products meet our manufacturing standards. Applicants need to be able to read blueprints and interpret GD& T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, ) so some technical training or professional experience is required.

This hands-on position requires leadership skills to be able to assist others in troubleshooting inspections, assigning and distributing work to other inspectors, and helping coach and develop all members of the inspection team.

How You Will Do It:
  • Program, calibrate and troubleshoot the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and Romer arms. Perform maintenance as necessary
  • Conduct quality control inspections
  • Work with quality team to meet manufacturing deadlines
  • Use leadership and influencing skills to coordinate activities of peers in the inspection department


What We Look For:
  • 3-5 years' experience with operating a CMM using Verisurf, PC-DMIS, or other software
  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including a firm understanding of GD& T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.)
  • Experience with precise measurement tools, such as caliper, micrometer, pin gage, height gage, dial indicator, Pi tape, deltronic pins, bore gage, optical comparator-angle/distance, fillet gage, radius gage set, surface finish chart, thread gage 2A/2B, profilometer, groove micrometer, blade micrometer, super micrometer
  • Basic math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to shift priorities to meet the evolving needs of the business

Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly

Salary Minimum: $60, 000

Salary Maximum: $80, 000
