You will make an impact by:

  • Coordinating, facilitating, and supervising the externship training, including student transition from class work to externship to graduate in preparation for placements
  • Locating, maintaining, and acquiring new externship sites and contracts; scheduling and supervising students' externship assignments; advising students and providing classroom instruction in accordance with the program's objectives.
  • Assisting students in gaining meaningful employment in jobs applicable to their field of study.
  • Guiding students with the job search process, including teaching workshops
  • Providing excellent customer service to current and graduating students in accordance with the mission and purpose of the college.

Your experience includes:

  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience working with or in extern sites, placing students, and coordinating related documents is preferred.

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Must be a graduate from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the specialty field or the subject area in which they teach.
