Job Description:

Lead other A& M professionals on a range of complex assignments for our clients in the life sciences and healthcare industry. Manage client projects by overseeing interview activities, gathering relevant data, developing goals and deadlines, reviewing work products of junior staff, and communicating with clients directly. Act as the main conduit between our clients and our team and engage in c-suite and board-level conversations regarding the challenges facing clients and strategic initiatives for solving them. Utilize experience and expertise to effectively help clients understand their competitive advantages and product/service line profitability in their science space. Leverage research and data to synthesize insights and separate myth from fact while also customizing strategic frameworks to develop recommendations that will drive tangible value. Retain excellent working relationships with clients and liaise with leadership and the case team to ensure all project outputs include strategically sound and actionable recommendations. Apply knowledge of engagement economics and overall product delivery, budgeting, and timely billing and collections including managing the implementation risk and profitability. Build relationships with clients and seek opportunities to expand the scope of business while generating leads. Manage and mentor junior staff as well as share topic matter knowledge with colleagues and the wider business. Domestic travel approx. 50% of time.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Biotechnology, Healthcare or a Life Sciences related discipline and minimum 5 years of consulting or research experience in the life sciences industry. Experience must include: Consulting or research experience in life science industry; Assessing key scientific, clinical, commercial, and financial performance drivers of healthcare and life sciences industry businesses; Conducting integrated analysis of clinical, scientific, market, and financial data to inform strategic decision-making and KPI development; Reviewing and interpreting financial statements and disclosures; Synthesizing and analyzing health sciences data and identifying strategic implications; Leading and managing teams of professional employees on complex work streams and projects; Developing new tools, methodologies, and approaches to improve strategic planning and business efficiency; Executing proposal development; Engaging in stakeholder management and communications with C-suite executives; Investigating business and financial plans of companies to drive strategic or financial decisions; Identifying business development opportunities; and collaborating with business development and marketing teams for product offerings.
