SBOP- Bilingual Clinician I

Alum Rock Counseling Center (ARCC) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist/Clinician II to provide school-based mental health services to children, youth, and families throughout East and Central San Jose. Working in partnership with local school districts, ARCCs School Based Outpatient Program (SBOP) provides accessible, culturally responsive care designed to support youth mental health, strengthen family wellness, and promote academic success. Under the supervision of the SBOP Program Manager, the Therapist/Clinician II provides evidence-based, Medi-Cal appropriate mental health services, including intensive outpatient and wellness-focused interventions for youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. The clinician supports children, adolescents, and families who may need specialty mental health services and may also present with co-occurring substance use needs. This role provides individual, family, and supportive services to a diverse population of youth navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, gang involvement, school attendance concerns, and other barriers impacting their well-being and success. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with youth and families, values culturally responsive care, and is committed to helping young people build resilience and reach their full potential. This position requires flexibility and may include travel to various school campuses within the service area to provide care where youth and families need it most.
