Alignment Health is seeking a Contract Coordinator to join the Network Management team. Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Network Management, this role plays a critical part in supporting contracting and operations by owning the coordination and routing of contracts, amendments, and provider changes.

This role sits at the center of contracting operations, partnering cross-functionally with network management, credentialing, and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Schedule & Work Environment:

This is a full-time position operating on Pacific Time. The schedule is Monday through Friday within standard business hours. Start and end times may be set between 8: 00 AM and 5: 00 PM PT based on individual preference; however, once established, a consistent daily schedule is expected.

This role is primarily remote; however, team members are expected to work onsite at the corporate office in Orange, CA approximately 1-2 times per month. Candidates must reside within Southern California and be within reasonable driving distance to Orange, CA for occasional onsite expectations.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Gather and validate information required for provider contracts, rosters, W-9s, and credentialing information.
  • Prepare contracting routing forms (CRFs) and notice(s) of change (NOC) forms for the operationalization of new contracts, amendments, and provider changes.
  • Coordinate with the credentialing department to ensure new providers are approved by Alignment Healthcare in a timely manner.
  • Proactively follow up with providers on the receipt of signed contracts and amendments to ensure timely execution.
  • Assist with the negotiation and processing of patient specific letters of agreement (LOAs), as needed.
  • Assist with contract and operations research needed for day-to-day activities as well as key initiatives.
  • Assist with mailing, follow up calls, reporting, and tracking to support network expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain the alternative language library for contracting.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of contract trackers and databases to keep all contract provisions and terms current.
  • Assist with contract routing as needed.
  • Prepare and organize standardized reports to assist network management with monitoring contracting and operations performance and activities.
  • Support standard operating procedure (SOP) and policy generation.
  • Support the development and distribution of communications to internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, meeting preparation, minutes, and logging projects.
  • Other projects and department administrative duties as assigned.

Experience:

Required:
  • Minimum (1) year of experience in provider relations, customer service with an HMO or IPA, medical group, institutional provider, contracting, or comparable experience.

Preferred:
  • (3) years of experience in provider relations, customer service with an HMO or IPA, medical group, institutional provider, contracting, or comparable experience.

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

Specialized Skills:

Required:
  • Solid analytic and quantitative skills.
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Access database proficiency (preferred)
  • Professional phone presence.
  • Ability to complete assignments within a given timeframe.
  • Solid attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with diverse members, management, employees, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and follow through on tasks without constant direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, processes, and workflows quickly.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM using standard two-hand typing.
  • Reasoning Skills: Able to prioritize multiple tasks; advanced problem-solving; able to use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and design, implement and manage appropriate resolution.

Pay Range: $44, 790.00 - $67, 185.00
Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
