Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - $50-$55/hr

Alhambra Post Acute is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing team. We are seeking a licensed, compassionate professional who is dedicated to providing quality patient care and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Pay
  • $50-$55 per hour, based on experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Treat patients according to physician-approved treatment plans
  • Complete daily treatment notes and weekly progress documentation per state and payer requirements
  • Communicate patient progress, concerns, and plans with therapy and nursing staff
  • Assist with caregiver and family training in preparation for discharge
  • Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary meetings
  • Assist with restorative aide training as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy treatment areas
  • Report equipment or safety concerns promptly
  • Participate in in-services and staff training programs

Qualifications
  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing with the state
  • Knowledge of Occupational Therapy Board State Practice Act
  • Experience with Casamba and PointClickCare preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk frequently
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist patients as required
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform transfers
  • Adequate vision and hearing to safely provide patient care

  • On-site at Alhambra Post Acute
