As the Senior Advanced Provider Practice Director, you play a vital role in our mission to improve lives. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic roadmap for the Advanced Provider practice. The Opportunity
  • Develop and lead the strategic direction of the Advanced Provider practice, ensuring alignment with Vituity's overarching goals for growth, innovation, and excellence.
  • Champion the development of forward-thinking initiatives and strategic programs that attract and retain top talent, positioning Vituity as a preferred employer in the Advanced Provider field.
  • Act as a key representative and thought leader for the Advanced Provider practice, building high-level relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, partners, and industry leaders to enhance market presence and reputation.
  • Serve as the external Advanced Provider leader representative, building and nurturing high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, industry leaders, and professional organizations to enhance the Vituity's reputation and market presence with Advanced Providers.
  • Partner with external organizations to promote Vituity's influence within the industry and expand opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and challenges, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge to advance the evolution of Advanced Provider clinical roles and drive long-term success with the Advanced Provider practice.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Advanced Provider programs in new and growing practice and product lines.
  • Serve as a representative at CMO/DQP/Quality Program meetings and collaborate with DQPs/Quality Program team on any programs or initiatives involving advanced providers that improve quality and patient care delivery.
  • Lead the design and implementation of transformative initiatives that enhance the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of the Advanced Provider practice in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with the risk management team to address Advanced Provider liability trends and implement strategies to mitigate risk and improve patient care outcomes.
  • Oversee the development of data-driven tools and resources to inform decision-making and operational improvements, positioning the Advanced Provider practice as a leader in leveraging analytics for business success.
  • When necessary, assess and make recommendations to sites with specific people management challenges such as workforce planning, hard to recruit sites, and high-turnover sites or regions.
  • Collaborate with senior executives, influencing organizational decision-making to integrate Advanced Provider priorities into partnership-wide initiatives.
  • Responsible for communicating and executing organizational Advanced Provider program goals/ initiatives.
  • Effectively manage the utilization of central resources to support Advanced Provider programs and initiatives.
  • Serve as the organizational expert on state and federal practice regulations and emerging legislation, ensuring that the Advanced Provider practice remains compliant and proactively adapts to regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with People Operations on Advanced Provider personnel matters such as total rewards, employee engagement, talent development, performance improvement plans, and impairments.
  • Advanced Provider leader representative for organizational process and system improvements.
  • Work closely with DEI to integrate and increase DEI focus for Advanced Providers.
  • Drive the development of leadership programs to cultivate the next generation of Advanced Provider leaders, ensuring a robust pipeline of talent aligned with the future needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to close skills gaps and advance educational initiatives that empower Advanced Providers to take on expanded leadership roles.
  • Demonstrate and transfer Vituity's Culture of Brilliance and partnership principles.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and integration by encouraging creative problem-solving, embracing new technologies, and implementing cutting-edge practices that enhance operational efficiency and Advanced Provider satisfaction.
  • Ensure advanced providers are compliant with the appropriate policies, regulations, and standards set forth by the organization.
  • Represent as Advanced Provider leader in central meetings (i.e., Site Leadership Academy, New Provider Experience, Partnership, Symposium, Divisional Meeting, etc.), presenting educational topics at meetings as requested.


Required Experience and Competencies
  • National Certification as an Advanced Provider is required.
  • Current state licensure as an Advanced Provider is required.
  • Must be a licensed Advanced Provider (PA/NP/CRNA) who has successfully graduated from an accredited training program.
  • 10 years of Clinical experience as an Advanced Provider is required.
  • 7 years of experience in multi-market Advanced Provider leadership is required.
  • Preferred experience includes strategic planning, team management, operational oversight, improvement program execution, and clinical leadership.
  • Prior leadership experience with hospital systems and/or specialty groups/clinics is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership, physician groups, and administrative teams is preferred.
  • Exposure to partnership models, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and payer relations is a plus.
  • Senior level interpersonal, communication, presentation, and leadership skills to influence decisions and people is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Advanced Provider practice is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments is required.
  • Ability to work successfully with a diversity of people and locations is required.
  • Ability to be a supportive team member and mentor is required.
  • Ability to travel 40% is required.

Salary range for this role is $160K - $170K annually, with opportunity to work clinical shifts. Please speak with a recruiter for more information.
