The Mechanical Engineer supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of ADCO packaging machinery and related equipment. This entry-level position combines fundamental engineering knowledge with practical, hands-on involvement in manufacturing, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. ADCO values practical mechanical aptitude in addition to academic engineering knowledge. Mechanical Engineer employees are expected to work closely with manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, aftermarket, and field service personnel to understand how their designs are manufactured, assembled, operated, maintained, and serviced. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, the Mechanical Engineer will develop mechanical designs, create and maintain engineering drawings and bills of materials, assist with machine testing and troubleshooting, and support engineering changes and improvement projects. The position is intended to develop engineers who understand not only how to design equipment, but how that equipment performs in a real-world production environment.
