Sr Technical Instructor
Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training to customers and partners worldwide (primarily US), both in-class and online
• Design and develop advanced networking courses, including curriculum, labs, and supporting materials
• Create and test hands-on labs that reinforce learning objectives and ensure reliability in real-world scenarios
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture best practices and emerging technologies
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer and knowledge transfer sessions to enable internal teams and partners
• Produce professional training deliverables including slides, lab guides, and reference documentation
• Own projects from concept through completion

Experience

• Three years of working experience as a technical trainer & course deloper in the networking industry
• Superlative communication skills - must present complex topics clearly and succinctly
• Experience delivering technical presentations online to highly technical audiences
• Enjoys troubleshooting and solving challenging technical problems confidently in front of an audience
• Comfortable with virtualization technologies, Linux, and Windows servers and VMs
• High level of expertise in networking technologies and protocols, with particular emphasis on L 4-7
• Experience with Application Delivery Control desirable
• Some scripting skills (Python, shell) helpful
• Enjoys owning projects and working with minimal to no supervision
• Skilled with managing deadlines
• Excellent organization skills
• Logical mind and positive attitude

Targeted compensation guideline: $110, 000 - $140, 000. Compensation will vary based on number of factors, including market demand for specific skills, role type, job level, and individual qualifications. Final salary offers are determined by considerations including, but not limited to, subject matter expertise, demonstrated skill level, relevant experience, geographic location, education, certifications, and training.
