What will you do?As a Specifier Sales Leader, you will lead the prescription of Schneider Electric's comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions across all business units.
Your mission is to influence key stakeholders consultants and end users-across diverse market segments, ensuring Schneider Electric is the preferred specification partner.
You will act as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding application needs and delivering tailored solutions that demonstrate Schneider Electric's value proposition and competitive edge. You will drive specification registration, approval, and adoption across all relevant stakeholders.
You will also play a pivotal role in market intelligence, proactively identifying emerging trends, economic shifts, and business opportunities. Your insights will directly inform business unit strategies, programs, and initiatives to expand our Serviceable Available Market (SAM) and Potential Available Market (PAM).
Your Role- Strategic Relationship Management: Build and sustain high-impact relationships with consultants and end users. Position Schneider Electric as a thought leader through solution presentations, technical workshops, and continuous engagement.
- Cross-BU Collaboration: Work seamlessly across Schneider Electric's business units to align offers, identify synergies, and drive integrated solutions that meet complex customer needs.
- Market & Project Intelligence: Analyze specifications, SLDs, and project documentation across segments (Buildings, Infrastructure, Urban Development) to identify opportunities and influence design decisions.
- Consultant Engagement & Negotiation: Lead strategic negotiations with consultants to secure specification inclusion and endorsement of Schneider Electric's portfolio.
- Pipeline Development: Support BU leadership in market sizing and pipeline growth through strategic contacts, project tracking, and early engagement.
- Customer-Centric Solutions: Anticipate customer needs, respond effectively to technical queries, and proactively counter competitive threats.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful? - Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of Schneider Electric's portfolio and ability to position it against competitors.
- Experience working within or closely with consultant offices (minimum 4 years).
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and familiar with competitor catalogs and design tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence.
- Agile mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in technical sales, specification, consulting roles within the electrical industry.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
