Enersense Engineering is now looking for a HSE Supervisor to work for our client in Belgium. Our client is a leading provider of demanding industrial structure solutions and in this position you will play a crucial role in providing and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the installation and ongoing construction site. This role involves conducting risk assessments, enforcing safety policies, and promoting a culture of safety among workers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure site operations comply with local and international HSE regulations and company safety standards
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site personnel
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols
• Work closely with project management to integrate HSE procedures into daily operations
• Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and emergency response teams as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of safety documentation, training logs, and incident reports
• Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management and pollution control
• Following up local HS legislation and requirements
• Foster a proactive safety culture and promote continuous improvement in workplace safety

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in HSE supervision on installation or construction sites
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment methods, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in high-risk environments and make quick decisions under pressure
• English language skills
