The purpose of this role is to provide project support services on one or multiple projects in process automation and digital energy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop control/safety application for applications in process automation and digital building systems;
  • Design and implement solutions based on client's requirements;
  • Work with customer in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements;
  • Work from process and instrumentation drawings to design applications and control strategies;
  • Develop software and system configuration, control application;
  • Prepare test, product and project documentation;
  • Participate in customer acceptance tests;
  • Work on-site engineering, start-up and application commissioning;
  • Develop and maintain broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area;
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of products and applications via active collaboration with different stakeholders;
  • Performs any other task requested by manager related to the job scope.


Essential Competencies
  • Finished bachelor's degree or higher level of education
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, auditable (letters of reference are highly appreciated);
  • Knowledge and experience with Modicon M580 and/or Modicon M580s & Control Expert
  • Experience with projects in digital building systems, data centers or process automation industry;
  • Experience with PLC and control applications;
  • Fluent level of written and spoken English
  • Being flexible in working on projects at customer premises and travelling to customers - up to 50%;


Desirable Competencies
  • Knowledge of Control PLC architecture and Modbus communication applications;
  • Data center project-based experience is an advantage;
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, IT, applied informatics or automation
  • Customer approach, team spirit and good communication and presentation skills;
  • Valid driving license (Category B);
  • MS Excel advanced user;
  • Knowledge of a second language, such as German/French/Italian/Spanish is a plus

For this Slovakia based position, the expected pay range is EUR 35.200 - EUR 52.800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives (individual and/or collective). The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within Slovakia. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
