Help manage and grow Dell Technologies financial health with a role on our Payroll team. The team is responsible for processing the company payroll while making sure that all wages, tax withholdings and deductions are accurate.

What you'll achieve:
You will ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations for Slovakia, delivering a high standard of service to employees and stakeholders. You will strengthen payroll processes by driving improvements, supporting system integrations, and ensuring alignment with evolving regulations. You will act as a trusted expert and key partner across functions, contributing to projects, audits, and strategic payroll initiatives.

You will:
• Lead and manage Slovak payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and local legislation.

• Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing.

• Perform audits of payroll data and reconcile results to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

• Interpret and apply payroll policies and legislation, ensuring proper handling of statutory deductions, contributions, and employee benefits in Slovakia.

• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing payroll processes and contributing to system integrations, projects, audits, and year-end activities.


Role responsibilities:

• Ensures payroll is processed accurately and on time in accordance with established schedules and company policies.

• Serves as the primary liaison between internal teams and third-party payroll vendors to ensure payroll calculations reflect company-specific pay policies and requirements.

• Audits employee payroll records and reconcile payroll totals to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Interprets and applies payroll-related policies and regulations, including vacation, leave of absence, disability, workers' compensation, union agreements, government regulations, and withholding requirements.

• Ensures compliance with all applicable payroll legislation, staying up to date with regulatory changes and implementing necessary process adjustments.

• Prepares and maintains payroll calendars, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and timely execution of payroll cycles.

• Collaborates with Centers of Expertise to manage system integrations between HCM, Time & Attendance system, and the payroll system (SAP GlobalView).

• Processes monthly payments, including salaries and third-party payments, ensuring all transactions are accurate and compliant.

• Acts as the primary point of contact (POC) for internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Social Insurance and Health Insurance providers, and Tax Authorities.

• Handles escalations and resolves complex employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Leads year-end payroll activities, including process design, planning, communication, and execution.

• Participates in regional or global projects, representing the payroll function and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Owns and manages technical requirements for payroll vendor configuration changes (e.g., new wage types, prorating rules, payroll output/layout adjustments).

• Documents payroll processes and procedures, ensuring clarity, standardization, and audit readiness.

• Supports internal and external audits, including SOX compliance, workers' compensation reviews, tax filings, and related documentation.

• Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes by challenging the status quo and leveraging technology and AI-driven solutions for innovation and efficiency.


Essential Requirements:
• Master's degree in finance or HR, with strong knowledge of SAP GlobalView (HR/Payroll module).

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret complex payroll data and in-depth knowledge of Slovak payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, controls, and compliance standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle payroll escalations in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lead process improvements and drive innovation using technology and automation (including AI-driven solutions) and experience in payroll project participation or leadership, including year-end activities and system or process changes.

• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).


Salary starting from: 2100 EUR gross/monthly
