Role Overview
Provides exceptional Credo and TA leadership to Oncology Medical Affairs to deliver and optimise our world leading oncological medicines to UK patients and their families. Responsible for the design, development and implementation of medical leadership, medical education, external partnerships, evidence generation, data dissemination and flawless launches. Oversees the develop and implementation plans of the medical affairs programme involving first and second line head office and field leadership!
You will ensure medical affairs objectives are aligned with the goals and mission of the TA and business! Serve as the patient champion to ensure delivery of value to the healthcare system. Develops and provides input to research protocols for specific projects promoting company message and value. Shapes plans for clinical trials, including protocol co-creation, staffing and budgeting as it relates to key data gaps. Implements plans for continuous improvement to create a thriving environment and culture in Medical Affairs that encourages and recognizes creativity, innovation, teamwork, risk taking and empowerment.

Qualifications & Experience
Medical degree (MD) or equivalent with specialisation in Oncology or scientific degree with extensive experience in leading oncology medical affairs teams
Masters Degree/MBA - Preferred
Final Signatory – Desirable
Experience:
Significant Oncology experience and consistent track record in the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated leadership experience and skilled in working within cross-functional and matrix organisations.
Strong business insight and understanding of pharmaceutical business models.
