We're searching for a Senior Field Adjuster. Are you searching for new possibilities?

Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Field Adjuster for the Surrey, White Rock, Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen area. This remote position allows you to work from home, but due to the nature of the role, you will need to perform fieldwork and travel within the assigned area.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $71, 200 to $89, 000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience while considering internal equity.This role is also entitled to car allowance.

Why we'll love You:
  • Ability to think clearly and communicate effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong background in commercial and personal property insurance with a working knowledge of building construction and restoration practices
  • A minimum of eight years of multi-line adjusting experience along with at least five years of field work in property claims adjudication
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Insurance Broker Level2 license and CIP designation (or working towards your designation)


Once here, you'll:
  • Investigate commercial and personal lines insurance claims with insureds, third parties and other related parties
  • Research facts, policy coverages, expert reports and case law to make decisions based on coverage, claim value and settlements
  • Ensure best practices are being followed for property restoration and repair process is on time and on budget
  • Collaborate with other claim-related experts such as Engineers and Legal Counsel
