Reports to: Senior Project Manager – Industrial Projects

Join our team as a Project Lead-IP at DHL Group! In this pivotal role, responsible for the coordination and execution of end-to-end project logistics operations. This includes managing multi-modal shipments, aligning internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring delivery against strict timelines, safety standards, and client expectations.

This role offers significant visibility across operations and requires a high level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination of project cargo shipments from origin to final delivery, including multi-leg and oversized freight
• Partner closely with Project Managers to execute live shipments and maintain
• operational control across all phases
• Act as the central coordination point between DHL teams, carriers, brokers, and
• service providers locally and globally
• Drive clear, proactive communication across all stakeholders to ensure alignment and mitigate operational risks
• Support detailed logistics planning, including routing, scheduling, and execution
• strategies at the ground level
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, customs regulations, and internal operating procedures (SOP/SAP)
• Monitor and report on operational KPIs, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to continuous improvement
• Provide hands-on operational support during peak activity periods or critical project phases
• Collaborate across functions and geographies to deliver consistent, high-quality project execution
• Within the first 12–18 months, the Project Lead will:
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex shipment coordination
  • Build strong internal and external networks critical to project execution
  • Develop deep operational knowledge across industrial project logistics
  • Establish a reputation for reliability, precision, and execution under pressure
  • Contribute directly to the successful delivery of high-value, time-sensitive projects

Skills / Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain (project exposure is an asset)
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Clear and confident communicator, capable of coordinating across diverse stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and operational excellence
• Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to take ownership in a high-performance setting
• Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career within industrial project logistics
• Strong Problem-Solving skills and a “can do” attitude.

Pay Transparency:

Salary Range: CAD $86, 000 – $115, 000 base salary + Bonus + full benefits.
