Description:

The purpose of the Governance Representative role is to perform and validate employment related background checks and security clearances to determine associate eligibility for assignment. The Governance Representative will be responsible for processing requests, adjudicating results and when required, requesting approval within the Controlled Goods Program from ManpowerGroup's Designated Official (DO). They are also responsible for assisting CSO by maintaining facility clearances and certifications. The Governance Representative is responsible to ensure the Manpower and Experis field organization is compliant with client contractual requirements.

Making an Impact
• Prepare, process and handle Confidential documents
• Manage security files (electronic and physical)
• Maintain internal systems to accurately reflect background check and security clearance status
• Assist Consultants and Associates to complete the process - for example providing guidance on how to obtain fingerprinting and any other required documentation to support the security clearance or controlled goods process
• Escalating/interpreting/problem solving on not clear results
• Understand and follow government and vendor requirements for storing and distributing confidential information
• Complete monthly internal audits to ensure compliance to client contractual requirements
• Manage external client audits when required

Sharing Expertise
• Perform background/credit checks in third party systems
• Perform consultant security verifications
• Assist consultants in obtaining their Controlled Goods Certification

Gaining Exposure
• Process and manage Security Clearances for all consultants, staff and facility (new, upgrades, duplicates and updates)

Your Typical Day
• No travel required
Other accountabilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Required
• Strong writing and communication skills - English is a must (French is an asset)
• High School Diploma
Nice to Have
• 2-3 years' experience with CISD security process, is an asset
• Bilingual in French an asset
