Description:

Sr Sustainability Business Sales Developer will engage and develop new corporate clients throughout Brazil. This position will focus on selling electricity and gas procurement consulting services to industries, data centers, buildings, in need for professional support to manage energy costs. This effort will involve identifying, pursuing, qualifying, and closing potential clients.

Responsibilities:

• Identify prospects that match the profile of Schneider Electric's Sustainability Business and work as a true hunter, with a proven ability to generate and follow up on leads by contacting prospects and creating interest in Schneider's offerings;
• Communicate and interact with business decision makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements;
• Lead and move prospects through the sales cycle and negotiate and close sales that vary in contract length and fee range;
• Implement best practices as recommended by manager and share knowledge with colleagues

Qualifications:

• Passion for the world of energy
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Climate Change, Corporate Sustainability, Energy, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related technical field preferred;
• Solid proven experience in corporate sales;
• Strong experience in energy markets, as well as in procurement strategy and contract execution in renewable energies and free energy market strategies. Knowledge of the gas market will be considered a competitive advantage in the process.
• Proven track record of success in all elements of a consultative sales role, including: lead generation, persistence in following up leads and moving prospects through the sales cycle, interfacing and presenting to all levels of management and negotiating deals with prospects;
• Previous experience of working with complex sales cycles which can sometimes last 6 months or more and experience in sales at a senior level (C Suite);
• Advanced English required. Some fluency in Spanish is welcome and will be considered a plus.
• Some travel is required to support sales activity (approximately 10-30%)
