What you’ll achieve

As a Lead Developer PHP you will coordinate our highly successful development team, contributing to develop and maintain the software of the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) domain.

Working with a highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Drive a team of developers, following SCRUM agile methods
  • Report indicators, communicate closely with the R& D management team to anticipate problems
  • Help the team in their work so that they progress and make the best technical choices
  • Develop the InVitro solution using Agile methods, with the help of development teams and testers
  • Stay in close contact with R& D Managers and Product Owners to synchronize multi-market development plans by avoiding conflicts or architecture breaks
  • Participate actively in the code review process
  • Pay particular attention to the follow-up of important technical topics that may impact the product or its use

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or similar
  • Previous experience in the role
  • Mastery of web development tools (PHP, Javascript, AJAX, MySQL, Bash on linux server)
  • Framework: Laravel, Symfony or equivalent
  • Experience in the use of remote maintenance tools: SSH, WinSCP, Web browser
  • Strong interest in documentation (Developer Guide, Wiki, Quality Manual, User Guide, Training Materials)
  • Experience with versioning (GIT, CVS)
  • Fluent in Italian and English
