We are seeking a QA tester on our web squad for our Barcelona-based Bump team. You'll work closely with the rest of the engineering team to define and maintain our automated testing suite, as well as collaborating in our agile, cross-functional squads to ensure quality assurance across our web portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, execute and document test cases based on business & functional requirements to ensure thorough testing of requirements in an agile environment
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in defining and evolving our test strategies, plans and cases
• Interface with teams in coordinating cross browser and manual regression testing when needed.
• Promote best practices surrounding TDD, continuous integration, code standards, etc..
• Have a user-focussed mind-set and eye for detail with applications under test, proactively suggests UX improvements
• Support stakeholders during important UAT phases
• Foster a culture of quality amongst the project team
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to test plans and processes

SUCCESSFUL ENGINEERS IN TEST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN

• Writing automated tests for backend services
  • UsingCypress and/or Playwright to write automated tests
• Node.js and JavaScript
• AWS/Kubernetes/Docker concepts and technologies
• Continuous Integration (CI) tools, processes and methodologies
• Designing and developing load tests to measure application performance
• QA software methodologies, tools and processes
• Cross-functional communication skills, both oral and written
• Superb eye for detail
