ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM: The Knot Worldwide is looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive
Market Insights Lead to own research studies for the company's 13 wedding brands across UK, Europe, Latam and India. This position will work closely with groups across the organization - including Marketing, product and strategy teams - to represent the attitudes, preferences and behaviors of current and potential couples and vendors. This individual will work especially to understand cultural differences in wedding planning across our international markets.
In this role, you will manage research projects from inception to completion, including methodology selection, data analysis and presentation of findings. We are looking for someone that is comfortable with both "scrappy" and sophisticated research methodologies - you'll need to be comfortable programming and launching a quick study among our users as well as working with external research partners. You'll be working with stakeholders who value data and insights to inform strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES: **This position does not have direct reports- Conduct surveys among couples, guests and wedding professionals about behaviors and preferences and synthesize findings into actionable insights/recommendations.
- Lead the design and execution of both quantitative and qualitative research studies to keep a pulse on industry trends and category insights (attire, stationery, etc). Work closely across the organization to ensure studies address knowledge gaps and support business priorities.
- Work with the marketing team on studies to optimize product and campaign messaging/positioning, including emails, landing pages and other assets.
- Track brand awareness and perceptions and surface opportunities to strengthen brand position. Collaborate with the U.S team on methodology and reporting.
- Compile primary insights as well as other types of data and present findings in a concise and compelling way in day-to-day consults or large meetings
- Establish a strong relationship with the U.S-based Insights team. Ensure consistent methodologies and analysis techniques for global studies and regularly share best practices and learnings.

- A collaborative business partner who is comfortably working cross-functionally to translate business questions into research initiatives
- A storyteller who can communicate the big-picture story beyond the numbers
- Organized and adept at juggling multiple projects at any given time without sacrificing quality/nuance
- Experienced working on global studies that require understanding nuances between cultures and implementing translations into multiple languages.
- 4+ years of experience designing and executing research studies (quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data analysis)
- Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of survey tools like Qualtrics is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data to tell a story and visualize data simply and clearly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in market research, business, marketing or related field
