ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

TKWW is seeking an individual who is eager to learn, grow, and take on new (and/or temporary) challenges as we also grow. We are looking for someone who is flexible, has a solid international accounting and technical foundation and aptitude, is detail-oriented, and has a desire to dive-in and roll-up their sleeves to gain an understanding over the company, the industry in which the company operates in, and what the financial results, financial trends, and key financial and investor metrics mean.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in organizing, drafting and distributing monthly, quarterly and annual international documents including international financial statements and international financial statement footnotes using financial schedules prepared by other functional groups and disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with international regulations
  • Oversee the timely and accurate completion of assigned foreign statutory audits for foreign jurisdictions in which the Company operates
  • Implement best practices in the application of GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant statutory regulations
  • Monitor and review new financial reporting and regulatory requirements, including interpretations of guidance and application within the company's financial reporting process
  • Assist in the compilation of the U.S. consolidated financial statements, including internal monthly reporting, and quarterly, and annual financial statement requirements.
  • Assist in the quarterly and annual review/audits of the U.S. consolidated financial statements and footnotes
  • Assist in providing internal and external reporting requests
  • Participate in the analysis of financial and operational data to develop commentary to be used in Management's Discussion and Analysis as well as any communications to stakeholders
  • Assist in working with business partners to manage and maintain an updated calendar of all internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all international financial reports to internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance of adequate supporting documentation
  • Assist in the coordination with the Company's external auditors to communicate financial reporting issues during the quarter and year end periods
  • Assist in working with other departments, including senior management, to develop reports that present information in a clear and concise manner to answer specific questions, provide insight into company operations (within the accounting group as well as cross functionally - sales operations, sales, engineering and design) and enable decision making
  • Assist in the review and approval of financial package reports prepared by other functional groups, as applicable, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis group by utilizing financial reports/models of actual financial data used to prepare monthly forecasts and budgets.
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
  • Assist in preparation of internal monthly reporting package and KPI package for internal circulation
  • Coordinate with the accounting team for input and understanding of fluctuation analysis on a monthly basis
  • Support the Global team in ad-hoc projects from a financial reporting and technical accounting standpoint as requested, including M& A initiatives and other special projects
  • Support the tax team on reporting needs and supporting documentation associated with the quarterly and annual tax provision and annual return, and understanding the tax implications of statutory or Spanish GAAP changes/impacts

SUCCESFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Degree in business administration or economics
  • 7 years of related experience, of which 3+ years public accounting experience is preferred and 1+ years in a financial reporting role, is preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Netsuite preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Sheets and Slides
  • Ability to work independently. Detail-oriented and execution focused
  • Strong general accounting skills and thorough technical knowledge and understanding of Spanish GAAP
  • In depth understanding of all local statutory requirements
  • Excellent communicator and ability to work well with local audit and tax teams and regulators
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Must be proactive, self-driven, and have the ability to resolve problems
  • Strong ability to review, interpret, and explain financial data
  • Working knowledge of Workiva is preferred
