Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.

What will make you successful:

The Role of the IT Project Manager is to:
  • Define a comprehensive project plan, including the Organizational Change Management plan (training and communication strategy, Change Impact Assessment, adoption activities).
  • Identify project stakeholders and ensure robust, transparent collaboration throughout the lifecycle using a strong governance structure.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, anticipating constraints and negotiating priorities when needed.
  • Set project deadlines, assign responsibilities, and maintain accountability across all teams.
  • Define and maintain the Business Case, meet budgetary objectives, and adjust project constraints based on financial and risk analysis.
  • Monitor, track, and summarize project progress using standardized reporting methodologies.
  • Prepare reports and management updates and organize steering committees to ensure alignment and decision-making.
  • Oversee risk and issue management, ensuring mitigation plans and escalation paths are clearly defined.
  • Provide innovative ideas to support project adoption, user experience improvement, and change readiness.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Deliver and ensure high-quality communication and training materials.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination, working closely with engineering, support teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Manage project scope and change requests, ensuring that modifications are documented, evaluated, and approved.
  • Establish and maintain project governance artifacts, such as RACI, stakeholder maps, communication matrices, and execution plans.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, IT policies, security requirements, and regulatory expectations when applicable.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and alignment meetings with technical and business teams.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer and handover to operations, support teams, or sustaining teams post-go-live.
  • Promote continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and user experience for future projects.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on project management
Working Experience & Core Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Solid collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Basic forecasting and budgeting skills.
  • Highly attentive to detail and comfortable working in a sensitive, technical environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills and proven ability to make complex topics clear and engaging.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented and collaborative work environment.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and proactive.
  • Experience working with shared services teams and engineers.
  • Ability to thrive in a global environment where continuous learning is essential.
  • Enjoy receiving feedback and converting it into action.
  • Able to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • Passionate about innovating the end-user experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional IT projects involving infrastructure, applications, or digital transformation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with project documentation practices and project governance frameworks.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and lead discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
