Description:
The Country Medical Director, is coordinating the Fresenius Nephrocare network of centers at country level with respect to patient medical care and quality of treatments, playing an essential role in continuous improvement of medical performance. The ideal candidate will be a physician with a proven track record in nephrology area.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the medical patient care in all dialysis centers, set medical targets, review medical performance, implement, and improve medical policies and procedures.
Support and implement the corporate strategic medical projects.
Responsible for quality management.
Coordinate and ensure proper implementation of quality policies and standards.
Organize medical meetings, medical training, and education in cooperation with relevant support function.
Maintain close collaboration with KOL’s, mainly in nephrology area.
Ensure monitoring and assessment of clinical service non-conformities and treatment incidents and propose proper corrections, preventive actions, and risk reduction measures.
Requirements:
MD, preferably with specialization in nephrology.
At least 10 years professional experience, ideally in a similar position.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international environment.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical and make informed decisions.
Keen understanding of country healthcare sector and particularly nephrology area.
Excellent communications skills.
Fluency in English is a must.
Good knowledge – MS Office.
Willingness to travel across the country.
