Vitalant is seeking a Sr. Workday ERP Develpoper to support the technology that helps power our lifesaving mission. In this role, you'll develop, test, and maintain software solutions-primarily supporting our Workday platform-that enable teams across the organization to operate efficiently and effectively. Partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you'll design and implement enhancements, drive process improvements, manage releases, and provide expert-level support to end users. Your work will help ensure our systems scale, perform, and align with enterprise strategies so our teams can stay focused on saving lives.

This position can work remotely from a work-at-home office anywhere in the United States.

As the Sr. Workday ERP Developer, you'll get to:
  • Manage, support, and optimize Workday modules, including maintenance, troubleshooting, releases, and data integrity
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver Workday solutions that meet business needs
  • Design, build, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, analytics, integrations, and extensions using Workday tools and best practices
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Workday configuration and integration issues, collaborating with vendors and support teams as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement of Workday processes, functionality, scalability, and system performance
  • Conduct audits and testing to ensure data accuracy, security, compliance, and successful deployments
  • Ensure adherence to data security, privacy standards, regulatory requirements, and Workday best practices
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and support to developers and functional analysts
  • Create and maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, processes, and system changes
  • Prioritize and address critical system issues in a timely and effective manner


Requirements

Knowledge/ Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
    • Master's degree preferred.
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems, preferably Workday, including integration architecture, security models, and advanced development tools.
  • Knowledge of automated applications systems, system development life cycle, and project management principles required.
Licenses/ Certifications

Workday Developer or Integration Certification preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building integrations within the Workday ecosystem using cloud connectors, EIB, and Workday Studio required.
  • Strong experience with Workday Integration toolset -Studio, EIB document transformation, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, PECI, Report Writer, BIRT, RaaS, XML & XSLT, Web Services, REST & SOAP API required.
  • Experience with developing applications using Workday Extend required.
  • Understanding of Workday business processes framework, and Workday domain security required.
  • Experience working with various document transfer formats such as EDI preferred.
  • Experience working with Workday Prism preferred.
  • Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, or similar) preferred

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to gather technical and business requirements and translate into action plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, quality work within deadlines.
