What You'll Do

• Design and execute the strategy for Vitalant's benchmarking database, transforming raw hospital data into actionable insights.
• Partner with IT and data/analytics teams to deliver a customer-facing solution with consultative value.
• Collaborate with hospitals, group purchasing organizations, pharma, trade associations, and key opinion leaders to ensure adoption and impact.
• Drive financial sustainability and growth through smart product design, pricing, and performance optimization.
• Position Vitalant as the industry leader in transfusion medicine analytics through publications, presentations, and advocacy.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in blood banking operations, healthcare product development, and operational benchmarking.
• Track record of launching complex, data-driven products in healthcare settings.
• Strong background in customer-facing analytics solutions with consultative delivery.
• Skilled collaborator across IT, operations, clinical, and commercial functions.
• Preferred: Experience with vendors such as Health Catalyst, Strata Decision, Trilliant Health, Datavant, Premier, or ECRI.
• Preferred: Prior work with Terumo, Cerus, Macopharma, Octapharma, or large blood operators.
• Preferred: Engagement with coalitions such as the Prehospital Blood Transfusion Coalition, Alliance of Blood Operators, or Real World Evidence Alliance.

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with your years of relevant experience and geographic location in alignment with our compensation structure.

Salary range shown corresponds to National Office.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.

Knowledge: Healthcare product development, hospital or blood banking operations, transfusion medicine, treatments or emergency patient care, required.

Familiarity with supply chain and operational processes, preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Certification from the Institute of Business Forecasting and Planning or Demand Driven, preferred.

Experience: 7 years experience in business development, product management, program management or healthcare, including strategic planning, financial/operational analysis, project management, solution design and competitive analysis required.
