The Impact You'll Make:

In this role, you'll connect with current, lapsed, and potential donors, encouraging them to schedule their next donation at a local blood drive or donor center. Through meaningful conversations, you'll help donors understand their life-changing impact and ensure they have a positive experience with Vitalant.

What to Expect

Due to scheduling requirements, this remote position is limited to candidates residing in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.

Schedule: Next Start Date: 4/13/2025
  • Training is four weeks, Monday-Friday, 9: 00 AM-5: 30 PM (AZ Time) with 100% attendance required.
  • After training, you will be assigned one of the following shifts (Arizona Time):
    • Tues-Sat | 10: 30 AM - 7: 00 PM (8% shift differential for Saturday)
    • Sun-Thurs | 10: 30 AM - 7: 00 PM (8% shift differential for Sunday)
Salary Range: $15.61-$16.67 per hour
  • Final rate determined by experience and work location.
  • Additional $1/hour bilingual pay (after passing assessment)

Skills & Strengths You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Strong verbal communication - clear, professional, and confident in phone-based conversations.
  • Customer service excellence - ability to handle concerns, overcome objections, and build rapport quickly.
  • Multi-tasking and computer proficiency - navigating multiple systems, typing while talking, and maintaining accuracy.
  • Attention to detail - accurate coding, proper documentation, and adherence to SOPs and donor confidentiality.
  • Adaptability - comfortable in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Team-oriented mindset - positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficient computer skills required; a skills assessment will be administered following the interview.
  • One year of customer service experience strongly preferred
  • Call center experience strongly preferred
  • High Speed Internet and private workspace is Required
