Vitalant is hiring a Lab Technician I - 2nd Shift in Tempe, AZ. This is a full-time position.

Job Grade: 114
Hourly Pay: 18.27 - 18.67 DOE
Shift Hours: 5: 00 pm - 1: 30 am with Rotating Weekends, Days Off During the Week
Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift 3: 00 pm - 11: 00 pm 9% and 11: 00 pm - 7: 00 am 14%
Weekend Shift Differential: 8%
Training Schedule: Must be able to do either: 0630 am -2: 30 pm (Tue- Sat) or (Sun - Thur)
3: 00 pm - 11: 30 pm 3: 00 pm - 11: 30 pm (Mon- Fri) for approximately 12 weeks

- Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
- Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
- Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
