Business Process Improvement Manager supports continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, partnering with national and functional leaders to plan and execute improvement projects. The role applies Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness-identifying and prioritizing opportunities, leading cross-functional teams, and using both statistical and practical problem-solving tools. Additionally, this position serves as the Smartsheet administrator, providing expertise in system configuration, user access, and automated workflow development to enable lean, efficient processes across the enterprise.

As a
Business Process Improvement Manager, you'll get to:
- Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance across the organization
- Partner with leaders to prioritize high-value improvement opportunities and mitigate operational risk
- Analyze process and performance data to identify trends, waste, and variation; recommend corrective actions
- Establish metrics, control plans, and daily management systems to sustain improvements and track results
- Collaborate with Finance to quantify and validate the financial impact of improvement initiatives
- Coach teams on Lean, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement practices
- Conduct on-site "Go and See" observations to ensure solutions align with real-world operations
- Partner with Technical Authors to ensure accurate, efficient process documentation
- Lead post-implementation reviews and clearly communicate project status, outcomes, and learnings
- Serve as Smartsheet Administrator (National role), managing system configuration, access, and automated workflows to support enterprise processes
Requirements Knowledge/Education - Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Business Administration or a technical field) required.
- Knowledge of performance improvement, statistical tools, and CGMP systems and applications required.
Licenses/Certifications Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (by a recognized certifying agency) or completion within 12 months required.
Experience - Five years related experience required.
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement implementation and/or project management experience required.
- Use of statistical techniques and other problem-solving tools required.
- Experience in the healthcare, blood banking, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
Skills/Abilities - Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and process design/redesign skills.
- Proficient use with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Statistical Software (Minitab, SigmaXL, etc.).
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
