VALLEY OF THE SUN YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION is hiring a Child Watch Attendant - Northwest Valley FamilyYMCA in El Mirage, AZ. This is a full-time position.
Supervise children attending the child watch program. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CHILD WATCH ATTENDANT: Lead children through fun interactive activates such as arts & crafts, gym games and so much more.Create positive lasting memories for each child, each day. *This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS TO BE ACHILD WATCH ATTENDANT: 15 years of age or older.Demonstrated ability to provide childcare.6 months or more work experience preferred.Ability to relate to, supervise, and provide age-appropriate activities to children, ages 1 month to 6 years. Possesses mature judgment and sound decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively with members, peers, and supervisor. Ability to effectively communicate information on YMCA membership and programs.Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
