Hard Armor Manufacturing Assistant

Summary of Position: Under the direct supervision of the Hard Armor Supervisor, assists in the tracking, manufacturing, and finishing of Hard Armor. Duties & Responsibilities: Enter and maintain operational data such as Manufacturing Order Numbers, Part Numbers, and Ballistic Lot Numbers.Print serialized ballistic labels for plates and shields.Assist in the documentation and tracking of manufacturing orders as they go through the manufacturing process.Assist in the requests and delivery of hardware and other material to Hard Armor teams.Assist in the inspection and cleaning of finished goods for shipment.Maintain up to date training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Work on the manufacturing floor assisting the Hard Armor team with regular needs to support production flow.Operate a forklift to move material, parts, and equipment.Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Qualifications: Knowledge of manufacturing environmentAbility to read and follow proceduresMust be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.Intermediate computer skills (Software & database entry)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsForklift experience preferredAbility to multi-task and prioritize work flowIntermediate experience with Microsoft Office SuiteMust be able to work with little or no supervision and work within a group setting Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
