Job Summary The Senior Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in support of rewarding, attracting, and retaining talent through the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs. This position supports the development of fair, competitive, and compliant pay structures, oversees the integrity of compensation systems and job architecture, and delivers actionable insights to leaders across the organization.
Education & Experience Required: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of progressively responsible compensation experience in, designing, developing and administering compensation programs
• Experience leading and implementing compensation projects
• Working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws (ie. FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Pay Transparency), regulations and statutes pertaining to wage and salary
• Experience with compensation survey tools and market pricing methodology
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, complex formulas)
• Strong analytical, communication and project management skills
Preferred: • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
• Executive compensation experience
• Experience with Payfactors and/or PeopleSoft
• Experience in developing and maintaining job architecture and leveling frameworks
Key Responsibilities • Supports the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs, policies and procedures, guidelines and tools.
• Conducts market pricing and benchmarking to ensure pay practices are competitive and equitable.
• Maintains and updates compensation data within HRIS and Payfactors and spreadsheets.
• Supports leaders in creating or editing job descriptions. Manages job descriptions ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Participates in compensation and salary surveys; analyzes market data to assess internal competitiveness and recommends adjustments to salary structures and pay practices based on findings.
• Supports the annual merit review cycle, including system setup, data preparation, communications and reporting.
• Partners with Senior Human Capital Generalists, Recruiters and leaders to address and resolve compensation inquiries and guide pay decisions that help attract and retain key talent.
• Creates and maintains the organization's job architecture framework, including job families, levels, and titling conventions.
• Creates and delivers compensation reports to support decision-making, including pay equity and compression analysis.
• Conducts audits to ensure data integrity, internal equity and compliance with federal, state and internal compensation practices and policies.
• Assists with the development and evaluation of the effectiveness of incentive programs; provides analysis and recommendations for program design and enhancement.
• Recommends process improvements to streamline compensation operations and enhance service delivery.
• Prepares compensation data and insights for executive compensation reviews.
• Prepares high-impact presentations and summaries for leaders.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of federal and state laws related to employer compensation. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of HRIS. Expertise with writing skills. Presentation skills.
