Description:
IT Oracle HCM Manager
Role:
The IT HCM Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating Oracle HCM-related initiatives across TPI. This individual will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through execution, ensuring alignment between IT and HR stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong functional and technical knowledge of Oracle HCM, has hands-on experience supporting and implementing HR systems, and a high level of cross-functional coordination and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the project lead for Oracle HCM initiatives, including system enhancements and annual HR events (benefits, payroll, compensation, etc)
- Work closely with IT and HR teams to ensure alignment on all system enhancements and changes
- Facilitate and manage project timelines, deliverables, and communications
- Organize and lead cross-functional meetings, such as daily stand-ups, planning sessions, business requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder updates
- Ensure adherence to standard project methodologies (agile, waterfall)
- Effectively communicate and manage project deliverables
- Document and track enhancement requests and work with the HR team to effectively prioritize backlog requests
- Coordinate with Oracle for Service Requests (SRs) and new product releases
- Report out on SLA metrics, system adoption metrics, and KPIs
- Develop a strong relationship with the HR team and become a trusted advisor for the HR community
- Align HR group with Enterprise IT processes
Requirements & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on Oracle HCM
- Solid understanding of both IT and HR functions and related systems
- Hands on experience implementing Oracle HCM (from initiation to configuration through go-live)
- Knowledge in project delivery methodologies like Agile and Waterfall
- MS Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Oracle HCM Cloud Certification is preferred
- Ability to work in a global environment
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
