Position Description

Role: Analyst, Global Supply Chain
Reports to: Director of Global Supply Chain Programs & Analytics
Team size: No direct reports
Location: Scottdale, AZ, US

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities for this role:

  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing metrics, supplier quality, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Collect and analyze data to report on historical spend, cost savings, production volumes, and operational performance. Maintain models for forecasted spend and savings under various scenarios.
  • Detect, investigate, and address data discrepancies using advanced analytics, and refine analytical processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support the preparation of detailed financial reports and risk assessments for global supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and track underlying data for supplier quality and prepare quarterly supplier scorecards
  • Assist in integrating data from various sources and systems to create a cohesive and accurate data repository.
  • Ensure data consistency and alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Conduct trend analysis across various data sets and segment the data to extract valuable insights and identify underlying patterns.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations on key findings to stakeholders.
  • Engage in productive discussions with team members to enhance reporting understandings, aligning with company goals to generate valuable business insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance policies and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data management and analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics to apply relevant methodologies and tools.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, supply chain, business management, or a related field.
  • Preferably 2+ years in procurement or related supply chain role with expertise in ERP system (preferably Oracle).
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and a hands-on learner with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt seamlessly to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to discern trends and extract actionable insights from data.
  • Skilled in advanced Excel functions, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Familiar with data analysis tools and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Fluent in English.
