JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Sundt Construction, Inc. has full time Project Engineer II position in Tempe, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

Understands Project Management Plan (PMP) components, including scope management, procurement, environmental, time management, financial, quality management, safety, and risk management plans to ensure successful project execution. Understands the change management process; Develops and integrates procurement schedule with project CPM (Critical Path Method) schedule; Procures necessary material and equipment; Coordinates submittals with other trades; Reviews all submittals for compliance with contract documents; Understands the prime contract, subcontracts, purchase order agreements, allowance items, contract drawings, and specifications; Administers budgeting and cost control process elements to complete project within approved budget; Demonstrates business acumen within area of responsibility; Maintains \"As-Built\" contract documents; Compiles close-out requirements, including operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and other job-specific items as required; Participates in concrete form design and related equipment selection, takeoffs for concrete, asphalt concrete, earthwork, and utilities as required; Plans, acquires, and develops members of the project team to ensure project execution; Prepares and maintains quantity reporting mechanisms; Coordinates agendas, prepares meeting minutes, and maintains project logs; Prepares and reviews change orders, including time extensions, with appropriate personnel before submittal to owner; Maintains change order log and distributes executed change order documents as required to company and subcontractor field personnel; Prepares and executes cost control budget adjustments in a timely manner; Identifies and prevents potential claims; and Quantifies, mitigates or resolves effects of occurred claims on a timely basis.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience. Drug test, Background check required
