Job Summary
The Director, Operations Finance, [Business Group] provides executive support to the [Business Group] President in leading a growing $1 billion revenue division of the Company. Supported with staff from Sundt Corporate Finance & Accounting team, the Director, Operations Finance is responsible for all financial, accounting and strategic planning activities for the Group, assisting Group leadership in analysis and forecasting of financial results and the achievement of annual performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
1.Assist Group President and leadership with ad hoc financial-related matters.
2.Collaborating with Sundt data analytics team, maintain and augment Group reporting to suit leadership evolving needs.
3.In consultation with Group leadership, lead update of fiscal year forecast on monthly basis, reflecting current period project progress reports.
4.Serve as primary financial advisor to the Group President and their leadership team.
5.Support Group leadership oversight of project performance, participating in monthly project progress reviews and helping leadership deliver optimal margin and cash flow.
6.Support periodic requests from Corporate Finance & Accounting relating to the annual audit or production of financial reporting.
7.Support the strategic planning effort, coordinating development of delivery and implementation of annual budget and capital needs.
8.Working with Sundt Corporate Finance & Accounting team, analyze monthly Group financial results, providing variance analyses to budget and prior year periods and identifying areas of financial risk (aged AR, under billings, etc.)
Minimum Job Requirements
1.Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Exceptional candidates with a degree in Construction Management also will be considered.
2.Collaborative with demonstrated success working in virtual teams.
3.Enthusiastic learner with leadership ambitions.
4.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5.Familiarity with JD Edwards Enterprise One a plus.
6.High integrity and results-oriented mindset.
7.Minimum 7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
8.Project accounting experience in Construction industry required.
9.Strong financial modeling skills, with demonstrated ability to develop bespoke analysis.

Physical Requirements
1.May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
2.Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
3.Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis

5.Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis.
6.Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
7.Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
