Some Essential Functions:

• Reliability and able to communicate efficiently and effectively
• Implement and assist with the facility's accounting functions under the supervision of the Business Office Manager
• Assist department directors in the development and use of accounting policies and procedures, and establish a rapport in and between departments so that each can realize the importance of accurate reporting procedures
• Monitor and collect accounts receivables as assigned
• Perform functions of computer/data processor as necessary
• Develop and utilize computer reports and output as required
• Assist in the planning and implementation of changes in the accounting system
• Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary or appropriate

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must possess a cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously with other personnel
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations
• Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines
• Experience with telephone etiquette
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
• Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with other personnel

Compensation:

• $17.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Full-Time Day Shift - 8: 00am to 4: 30pm
